Shaw's restaurant and retail explosion continues with The Shaw Bijou, a new fine-dining offering from a 25-year-old veteran of big-name New York restaurants Eleven Madison Park and Per Se.
The restaurant will be owned by that chef, Kwame Onwuachi, as well as one of his former colleagues from Eleven Madison Park, Greg Vakiner. The two are also partnering with Kelly Gorusch, who owns the building at 1544 Ninth St. NW where the restaurant will be housed, and business consultant Glenn Paik.
