The Kitchen, a group of four restaurants in Denver and Boulder, Colorado, whose tagline is "community through food," is opening a spot in Chicago the week of Oct. 20.
The restaurants are owned by Kimbal Musk, brother of Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, and Hugo Matheson. Johnny Anderes, former chef/partner at Reno and the now-closed Telegraph and sous chef at Avec, will be manning the kitchen. He gave Crain's the first look at the space.
