Husband and wife culinary partners, Nicholas and Melik Alonzo have just opened Indo, an Indonesian restaurant in Keego Harbor. The Alonzo’s have embarked on a mission to introduce authentic Indonesian cuisine to Michigan.
“Friends of ours that come over for dinner and have been asking us for the last 6 to 8 years, ‘When are you guys going to open your own restaurant?’ repeatedly and finally we just decided to do it. We had the capital to do it,” Nicholas said.
