Mall patrons looking to drop their shopping bags and feed their hungry stomachs will soon have two new dining establishments to choose from when the D.C.-based pizza bistro Matchbox and famed national family-restaurant chain,Boston Market open at Potomac Mills later this year.
Exposed walls and the smell of fresh artisanal pizzas baking in brick ovens will greet customers at the Mills’ fourth and newest sit-down restaurant, Matchbox. Set to open in November, next to The Cheesecake Factory, this bistro by the DC-based Matchbox Food Group will serve up award-winning pizzas, appetizers, salads and specialty cocktails. The location will be the restaurant’s seventh establishment nationwide and feature a contemporary wood architectural design.
The Mills will also bring the best of home cooking to the mall food court with the addition of Boston Market, set to open this fall. Located next to Great Wraps, the fast-casual chain will serve up specialty individual and family meals complete with “Home Style” sides and fresh desserts.
“With the addition of these two new restaurants, Potomac Mills increases the number of available sit-down and counter-service dining establishments available to families and mall customers,” said Sam Hosn, general manager at Potomac Mills. “Now shoppers can experience one of the best pizza restaurants in D.C. or sit down to enjoy the comfort foods of home, right here in Woodbridge.”
