General Manager, Greg Barajas has an impressive track record of leading others by example at Red Lobster. In his 17 years of service, Greg has tirelessly provided guidance and professional development to future leaders at his Brea, CA restaurant.

Vice President of Operations, Chris Zygler, describes Greg as being fully committed to providing great training to all levels of the business. “Greg has structured the Professional program, an initiative which allows hourly team members to shadow leadership positions in restaurants, to provide great experiences to prepare hourly employees for future manager roles,” Chris said.

Greg’s restaurant is often referred to as an “incubator of talent” for the Los Angeles market. Within a two year period, Greg’s training helped promote seven Regional Managers and a General Manager within a two year period. His commitment to professional development is driven by the enthusiasm of team members. “I am constantly inspired by the talent and the passion that is cultivated by restaurants,” Greg said.

Ultimately, Greg believes all employees can achieve success with the right guidance. “It is important to me to ensure that all employees are elevated to leadership roles that allow them to reach their full potential,” he said.
