Providing tuition assistance for students pursuing a career in foodservice and hospitality has long been an important component of Missouri Restaurant Association's mission of service to the industry. Throughout the year, and across the state, MRA members donate their time, money, and other resources to conduct various fund raising events to make these scholarships possible. It is a powerful testimony to the generous spirit of MRA members.

The scholarship money raised in Missouri is enhanced by our partner organization, the National Restaurant Association, through its Matching Scholarship Program. This year, NRA contributed $28,750 in matching funds to increase the Missouri scholarships.

In 2014, 40 motivated and deserving students were awarded a total of $67,650 in scholarship funds. MRA wishes these talented students the very best as they pursue their career goals. It is our privilege to help you along the way.

Commenting on the scholarships, MRA President Vic Allred of Jazz Louisiana Kitchen Restaurants, noted, "I tip my hat to the volunteer spirit of the MRA members who make these scholarships possible. You can tell what is important to a person by observing where they spend their time and money. I am honored to serve an organization comprised of members who give of themselves so generously."
