The second annual Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week is going on now through Sunday. Diners have raved about the $20.14 specials thus far and plan to try many more in the days ahead. On Thursday, 10 percent of all proceeds from participating Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week restaurants will be donated to the Vail Valley Foundation.
“We are honored to have been selected as the nonprofit beneficiary of Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week,” said Ceil Folz, president of the Vail Valley Foundation. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for both locals and guests to enjoy the valley’s best food at great prices and I hope everyone will join in the festivities.”
The Vail Valley Foundation was selected as the nonprofit beneficiary by the restaurant group for its dedication to enhance and sustain the spirit of the Vail Valley by providing leadership in athletic, cultural and educational endeavors, including the 2015 Vail Beaver Creek FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
